Janet M. Kohler, 81, of Osceola, died on November 8, 2018.  She was born in South Bend on April 23, 1937.  On April 18, 1953, Janet married Richard Kohler and he survives.  Janet worked for Whitehall Laboratories in Elkhart for many years until her retirement.  She loved being a homemaker, Mom, and Grandma.  Her family was very precious to her and she loved them very much.  She also enjoyed traveling-especially the trips to Silver Lake with her husband Richard.  Janet is survived by her children, Steven Kohler of Elkhart, Carol Kohler of Florida, Ellen (Robert) Hendrix of Midway, TN, and Timothy Kohler of South Bend; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Danny Kohler; and three brothers, Bob Pryer, Vern Sanderson, and Charlie Sanderson.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 10-11 AM in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561 with a memorial service beginning at 11AM.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
