Jannette A. Leeds , 91, of Granger, died Saturday December 22, 2018. Jan was born in St. Paul MN on September 30, 1927 to (the late) John and Beatrice (Nelson) Ohlhauser. She graduated from Elston High School in Michigan City IN with the Class of '45 and on August 2, 1947 she married Robert W. Leeds, who preceded her in death on December 4, 1999 after 52 years of marriage.  Jan retired from the offices of South Bend Community School Corp. and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She cherished the time spent with family & friends; she enjoyed singing in the church choir, camping at Baldwin Lake in Michigan and winters spent in Arizona. Jan collected angels and loved dogs, most recently caring for "Reesey".  Jan is survived by her children, Steven (Cathie) Leeds of South Bend and Debbie (Greg) Hegyi of Granger; her grandchildren, Robert (Amy) Leeds of Highland, Stephanie Leeds of Roseland, Stephen (Kelsie) Leeds of South Bend, Nicole (Donnie) Jellison of Mishawaka and Sean (Megan) Hegyi of Kansas City MO; her sister, Gloria J. Stradtner of Michigan City and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services 2:00 Friday December 28, 2018 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 1-2pm Friday and on Thursday from 4-7pm.  Private interment in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
