SOUTH BEND - Jason Wright, age 29, passed away June 11, 2015 at his residence in South Bend. Jason had served in the US Army during the Iraq war. He was a chef and culinary artist, his passion was cooking and he enjoyed cooking at The Crooked Yew Restaurant. He is survived by his life partner, Eric Music, mother, Cindy (Smith) Schmid , maternal Grandmother, Patricia Smith, Paternal Grandmother, Shelby Norris, children, Ethan, Zackary and Maleighla. Also surviving is sister, Shelly Wright and fiance Jason O''Dell, Uncle Duane (Mary) Smith, Aunt Sherry (Scott) Cleveland, four nephews and two nieces. Family and friends may gather from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN with a funeral service immediately following at 2:00 pm. with full military honors. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
