MIDDLEBURY-Jay Anderson, 84 passed away Monday evening at Center for Hospice in Elkhart. He was born to Kenneth and Georgia Faye (Hupp) Anderson in Mishawaka. On February 16,1951 he married Rosalie Hale and together they were married 65 years. Jay was a self employed plumbing and heating technician for many years until his retirement. He was an Notre Dame football and basketball fan and enjoyed playing euchre. Jay also loved to swim and water-ski, he resided at Simonton Lake. He was great leader and this being attributed to living a Godly Christian life. Jay was a very selfless man, always putting his family and everyone ahead of himself. His greatest love of all was his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jay is survived by wife, Rosalie, daughters, JaiAnn Evans, Joy(Jeffrey)Kluga, brother Jack Anderson , sister Marjorie Overpeck, five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Bert Evans. A gathering of friends and family will be Saturday April 9, 2016 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola IN 46561; following will be a private burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. the families preferred memorial is Center for Hospice Elkhart 22579 Old U.S. 20, Elkhart, IN 46516
