Jeanette Losee 85 of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 after a battle with Parkinson's disease.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, of 21 years, Larry Dean Losee; her children Debbie (Artie) Meehan, Jack Kidder, William "Doug" Kidder (Michelle Achterberch), Tammy Linn; and Larry Scott Losee; her sisters Geraldine Greathouse, Sue (Jesse) Hollis and Carla Borzeniatow; her brother James (Ruthie) Chaney; her sisters-in-law Dorie and Brenda; grandchildren Chad Ballge, Chris (Liliana) Ballge, TJ Meehan, Krista (Jeff) Staley, Melissa Merryfield, Erik Kidder, Jeanette Kidder, Brandon Linn, and Kristina (Kyle) Cline; numerous great grandchildren & some great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Clay and Mildred (Nuckols) Chaney; her daughter Kathy Ballge; her son Bruce Losee; her sister Ann (Charles) Ragland; her brothers Leroy (Norma) Chaney, William Chaney, Tom (Marcie) Chaney & Larry Chaney; and brother-in-law Punch Greathouse.
Jeanette and Larry were married on December 05, 2002. She enjoyed bowling and traveling, and was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan. She was a supervisor at EFP in Elkhart and worked there for over 25 years. Jeanette enjoyed listening to gospel hymns by Alan Jackson and songs by Fats Domino. She was especially known for baking amazing cakes and she loved collecting dolls. Most of all she loved her precious family.

A visitation to meet with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, located at 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, Indiana. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
