Jeanette Susan White

November 24, 1949 – February 23, 2024

Jeanette White 74, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at home surrounded by her loving family and friends on February 23, 2024.

She is survived by her daughter Heather White (Willie Williams); her son Michael Robakowski (Chris Dale); grandchildren Alexis Bowen and Legend Davis; a great grandchild Kaigen Bowen; and brothers-in-law James (Karla) White and Norman White.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents Bernard & Stella (Chlebek) Robakowski; her husband Ronald Lee White; her daughter Heidi Renee and her brother Dale Robakowski.

She was a wonderful woman who became a mom and a grandma to so many.  She was a delightful aunt and was very giving to those in need.  All of her friend's children became her children. She brought everyone together and was an amazing caregiver to the Brothers at Holy Cross. She was employed at Holy Cross Village from June of 1992 to November of 2018.  She enjoyed bingo, bowling, and paddle parties and she was a loyal caregiver to her loving dogs.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday, March 04, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home to celebrate her life. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 05, 2024 at 12:00 pm (noon) with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
