Jeffery L. Marchand, 57, of South Bend, died Saturday March 14, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. The South Bend native was born March 22, 1957 to Don & Bonnie (Shaw) Marchand, who have both preceded him in death, as well as his brother, Jeryld Marchand. Jeff enjoyed playing golf, racing, antique airplanes and working on cars. He is survived by his son, Mike Marchand of South Bend; daughter, Angela Marchand of Portland OR; step-sons, John Kamphus, serving with the US Navy in San Diego, Jacob Kamphus of South Bend, Brandon Kamphus of South Bend and Bryan Kamphus of Mishawaka; brothers, James (Glenda) Marchand of Osceola, John (Lori) Marchand of Fishers and Joseph (Tina) Marchand of Pierceton. Private family services were held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. A public memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
