Jeffrey Taska, 60, passed away on Monday, April 5 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Elkhart, Indiana to Gary and Marlene (Plank) Taska. On June 20,1992 he married Sharon Ann Borom and they were blessed with a daughter, Colette Jasmyne, in 1998. He was a 1978 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School where he excelled in football and the Elkhart Area Career Center in auto mechanics. Jeff worked as a journeyman pipefitter/welder for 40 years. He was a member of Plumbers, Pipefitters & Refrigeration Fitters Local 403 in California.

Surviving are his wife Sharon, daughter Colette of Massachusetts, his parents, his sisters Jennifer (Bruce) Hardy, Julie (Rick) Anglemyer; sister in laws Colette Carpenter, Donna Brown, and Jaqueline (Forrest) Harris, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jeff loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Greater Wayside Church of God in Christ. He enjoyed traveling with his family on vacations to warm places. He also enjoyed cars, motorcycles and watching ND football, the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday April 10, 2021 at 11:30AM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561.  Dr. Stephen Swihart will officiate with Pastor James Andrews of Greater Wayside COGIC participating.
