Jeremy Lee White

August 26,1983 – May 11, 2024.

Jeremy White, 40, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Saturday May 11, 2024, in North Charleston, South Carolina.

He is  survived by his mother Jennifer (Bowen) and stepfather Steve Noffsinger of Elkhart, Indiana; his sister Amy (Marcos) Escamilla of Elkhart; his grandparents Faye  (Steve) Ritchie  of Mishawaka, Indiana, Walt (Donna) Snyder of Osceola, Indiana and Sue Bowen of South Bend, Indiana, Rex White of Texas, Janet & Russ Hodgkin of Pittsboro, Indiana; Aunts and Uncles Warren (Michelle) White of Indianapolis, Indiana, Aunt Karen (Noffsinger) Hackel, Uncle Mike (Doreen) Noffsinger, Aunt Jan (Snyder), Uncle Steve Tadevich, Uncle Terry Snyder, Aunt Melissa Ritchie Cram and Aunt Tonya Ritchie; his Godparents Tony and Fran Wisniewski of Mishawaka, Indiana; many cousins; and a beloved niece Amaya Grace Escamilla (2).

Jeremy is also survived by his wife Kayla Rice and his stepchildren Annabella (7), Kinsely (5), and Preston (4) of Muscadine, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his father Wayne D. White; his grandparents Don & Carol Noffsinger and Tony Bowen; as well as his Uncles Kevin and Scott Noffsinger and Uncle Christopher McKenna.

Jeremy was a 2003 graduate of Mishawaka High School, and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  He loved to cook and held positions at several restaurants in the area throughout the years.  He especially loved to cook steak.  Jeremy had an amazing sense of humor and had a special ability to always make others laugh. He was a giving and kind person who would give the little he had to others who were in greater need than himself.  Jeremy was a good friend to many, often sacrificing his own needs to help others out who were worse off than himself. He was an awesome big brother to Amy and would always protect and watch over her, even when others had no idea he was doing it. Most of all Jeremy loved his dear family and he will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, located at 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, Indiana 46561, with a funeral service being held from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
