Jerome W. "Jerry" Braniff, 72, of Elkhart, passed away on Sunday March 13, 2022 at home.  He was born on Dec. 23, 1949 in South Bend to Edward G. and Helen E. (Meredith) Braniff.  He married Dawn R. Bemenderfer on July 19, 1980 in Elkhart, IN.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Dawn; 3 sons: James C. Braniff, Michael A. Braniff and Adam L. Fann; a daughter, Kimberly M. Streeter; 3 grandchildren; and 2 sisters: Diana Lawson and Cindy Ostrom.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Braniff.

Jerry served his country honorably in the Navy during Vietnam as a medical corpsman.  He was a Petty Officer First Class and became a certified X-Ray Technician.  He had previously been a Boy Scout Leader of Troop 741.  He enjoyed camping with his family and, later in life, relaxing weekends at the lake with friends.

A funeral service in his honor will be Friday March 19, 2022 at 1 PM at the funeral home.
