IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jerry Lee
Tuggle
February 5, 1970 – September 27, 2024
Mishawaka- Jerry Lee Tuggle, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN. with his loving family beside him.
Jerry was born February 5, 1970, in Mishawaka, IN to the late Ivan Paul and Melody Sue (Reinholtz) Tuggle/Adkins. He was a 1988 graduate of Jimtown High School. He married the love of his life, Katrine (Zimmerman) on March 26, 1994, in Elkhart. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Tuggle.
Jerry worked as the warehouse manager at Sirco Industries, Inc for 25 years. Prior to Sirco, Jerry worked as an Assistant Foreman at Woodtek for 11 years. Jerry was known to many as a jokester. He loved picking on his family and friends all the time. Jerry was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan (even when they were not the best team). He loved decorating for Halloween and Christmas. He also loved smoking turkeys for Thanksgiving. Throughout his life he had a few different nicknames; Tugboat, Tug and Popeye. One thing about Jerry that anyone and everyone would say is that he was a hard-working, dependable, selfless man that very rarely was seen without a hat on his head. He loved spending time with his family as they were his life.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Katrine Tuggle of Mishawaka, his sons Hawkins (Katie) Zimmerman of Mishawaka and Deen (Sam) Tuggle of South Bend, his brother, John Tuggle of Elkhart, a sister, Rebecca (Cleve) Shirley of Elkhart, also, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. We must not forget his faithful four-legged companion, Simba.
