Obituary

Joan Marie 'Jo' Oblinger, South Bend, passed away on the late evening of Thursday, November 10, 2022. She was 83. Jo was born August 19, 1939 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, a daughter of the late Glen Samuel and Edith Mae (Bax) Ferguson.

Jo is survived by her husband Lou Oblinger, Sr.; her children, Lou (Donna) Oblinger, Jr. and Tammy Oblinger; her grandchildren, Courtney Hughes, Michael Hughes, Lisa Oblinger and Jennifer  Oblinger; her sister, Glenda Jean Scott.
In addition to her parents, Jo is preceded in passing by her daughter, Deborah Lynn Oblinger and a sister, Shirley Adkins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, with burial following at Chapel Hill Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
