Joanne M. Davis, 92, of Elkhart, passed away at 3:40 pm, Monday, March 24, 2014 in Eastlake Nursing Home, Elkhart. Joanne was born on May 12, 1921, the daughter of Vern P. and Gertrude J. (Metcalf) Myers. On June 9, 1940, she married Wayne Odoirne and together they have two daughters, Dawn (Jim) Givens and Pamela (Carl) Staines of Elkhart. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and a sister, Joyce Calmer of Jenson Beach, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mary Lou Siatkowski, her twin, Jeanne Bill and four brothers, Bob Glen "Joe", Vern and Don Myers. Joanne loved the river and enjoyed boating. She was known as the life of the party with a quick wit and great sense of humor. She daily visited the former Universal Health Spa. A committal service will be held in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, located on the grounds of Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, at 2:30 pm, Thursday, March 27, 2014.
