John Allen Gray 71, departed from this life on Thursday, December 30 2021. John was born Oct 26, 1950 in Portageville Missouri to Ellis Grays and Margaret (Grays) Jones. He then moved to Elkhart Indiana.  He worked at many jobs. John could never stand to be in one place very long.  He would travel on short trips whenever possible, always returning to Elkhart.

He married Cynthia Diane Watkins who preceded him in death. He moved back to Cape Girardeau, Missouri until his recent death. John will be at peace resting beside his father and mother at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Osceola, Indiana.  John was preceded in death by his father and mother and one son Todd Grays and two brothers Elmer (Ginnie) Grays and Michael (Mary) Grays.

Survived one son John (Stephanie) Elkhart, Indiana and one daughter Tiffany Grays of South Bend, Indiana.

He has three sisters Margaret House Gainesville, Florida, Linda Jefferson (Lamar) Mt. Prospect Illinois, and Belinda Hodges (Rusty) Portageville,  Missouri and four brothers Ellis (Helen) Grays, Charles (Liz) Grays Earl (Rudy) Grays all from Elkhart Indiana and Sherman Booker Columbia Missouri

He had a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
