John "Henry" Russell Heathcock, 67, of Goshen, died at 11:20 pm, Monday, June 3, 2013 in IU Health Goshen Hospital. Henry was born on November 7, 1945, the son of the late Earl and Ruth (Blackwood) Heathcock. On July 2, 1973, he married Wilma L. Rowe.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Wilma; two children, Richard Heathcock of Elkhart and Erika Heathcock of Goshen and his beloved grandson, Hank Abbott. He is also survived by two sisters, Marie Embrey of Batesville, MS and Margaret Woodruff of Marion, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Raymond and Richard.

Henry worked for over 30 years for the former Mogul Rubber. Since 1984, he has owned and operated JR''s New & Used Furniture and Appliance in Goshen. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, riding his motorcycle and hanging out with Hank.

Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 pm, Friday, June 7, 2013 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the funeral home with entombment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
