John A. Hoover, 89, of Goshen, passed away on August 9, 2019.  He was born on February 23, 1930 in Goshen to Dan E. and Helen P. (Overholt) Hoover.  On November 6, 2011, John married Goldie Randolph and she survives.  John was a 1949 graduate of Goshen High School and worked for 52 years as a truck driver with a safe driving record.  He was a member of the Maple City Goldwing Club, and a lifetime member of the DAV and Goshen Iron Horsemen.  His greatest joy was riding motorcycles.  John is survived by his wife, Goldie; his children, Tim (Patty) Hoover, Tom Hoover, and Dawn (Jim) Bradford; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his siblings Roland "Pug" Hoover and Catherine Koch.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Marilyn.  In accordance with John's wishes, a private cremation committal will take place with inurnment at a later date.
