Elkhart - John Ross Miller, age 72, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly.

John was born September 17, 1952, in South Bend, IN to the late Maurice F. and Doris A. (Brewer) Miller. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Theodore Ross Miller.

John had graduated from Elkhart High School and earned a bachelor's degree in architectural work. After high school, he served in the US Navy From February 1977 to May of 1980, serving aboard the USS Midway. He loved fishing, muscle cars, and music from Jimi Hendrix. He was world renowned for his architecture work and his renderings.

He is survived by a son, Nathan (Brandi) Miller.
