ELKHART – John A. Rantz, 55, passed away February 25, 2018 in Elkhart. Mr. Rantz was born to the late Alan and Barbara (Horvath) Rantz November 9, 1962 in Mishawaka, Indiana.

John was an active member of the NRA. He loved to hunt, fish, and take in the outdoors any chance he had. He also had a great sense of humor and was full of life. John also loved to spend time with his family playing cards and always had time for a game of Aggravation.

John is survived by his longtime love, Pam Nelson; sons, Charles and Daniel Nelson; daughters, Sarah Olvera and Kasey Rantz, and five grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rantz was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Ann Sharp.
