John A. Sayer III, age 65, of Elkhart, Indiana passed away at his home on Thursday April 10, 2019.

He was born in South Bend, Indiana on December 11, 1953 to John and Felicia Sayer II. John was a graduate from Mishawaka High School. He worked for AM General in Mishawaka for many years. John enjoyed Notre Dame Football, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears and most of all playing with his grandchildren.

John A. Sayer III is survived by his son, John (Katie Matthews) Sayer IV of South Bend, IN; daughter, Toni (Clint) Sayer of Mishawaka, IN; step sons, Steve (Angie) Butcher of Indianapolis, IN, Chris Butcher of Osceola, IN, and Shane Reaume of Ft. Wayne, IN; 9 grandchildren; mother, Felicia Fox; sisters, Lou Ann (Tony) Hazen of Mishawaka, IN, and Mary Jo Jones of IN. He is preceded in death by his father.
