Joseph Gene Fodrocy, 85, entered into eternal rest on January 11, 2022. He was born on May 17, 1936 to the late Veronica and Stephen Fodrocy in South Bend, IN. On February 8, 1964, he married the love of his life, Sharon (Gamble) Fodrocy. He enjoyed fishing, playing music, his tractor, cappuccino, a good euchre game, and spending time with his family. Joseph retired from Bayer and also from St. Pius Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve and Jim Fodrocy; and brothers in law, Dan Gamble and Richard McDonough.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Sharon (Gamble) Fodrocy; children, Lori Severeid, Joey (Angelica) Fodrocy, Jr., and Dana (Brad) Fuelling; grandchildren, Courtney, Josh (Mel), Tyler, Kendra, Melanie, Paige, and Gene; and great grandchildren, Christian, Brayden, Brylei, and Faith.

The Fodrocy family would like to extend a special thanks to Jennifer and Kim from Comfort Keepers, and Southern Care Hospice.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM followed by a private Memorial Service at Chapel Hill Funeral Home,10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561. Burial will be held privately in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date. Face masks are required to enter the funeral home.
