Josephine K. Kuespert, age 91 of Mishawaka, died of natural causes at 3:38 pm on Monday, January 21, 2013 at her residence. Josephine was born February 14, 1921 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Lawrence and Theresa (Schuster) Deutsch. She attended St. Mary''s Grade School and graduated from Central High School in 1940. She was also a longtime member of St. Monica''s Catholic Church in Mishawaka. On June 14, 1952, she married Chester G. Kuespert Sr. who preceded her in death, passing away in 1998.

Surviving is her son Larry M. Kuespert of Mishawaka and three granddaughters; Betsy Faulkenberg, Becky Kuespert, and Billie (John) Armstrong, all of Mishawaka. Also surviving are six great grandchildren, one step great grandchild, five great-great grandchildren and one step great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son Chester G. Kuespert Jr. and her brother Joseph Duetsch.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Rev. Jeffrey Largent will officiate the 11:00 am funeral service on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Kuespert was a homemaker all her life. She enjoyed cooking, baking and was an avid gardener. She and her husband enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Florida, and camping. Josephine also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.
