Joyce B. Boyer, 85, died January 17, 2015 in Americus, GA. The Syracuse IN native was born December 28, 1929 to Leo Merle & Irman (Loman) Gawthorpe. She was a member of Beulah Missionary Church in Goshen and had retired after 40 years with CTS Telephone Manufacturing. In addition to her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Boyer on January 3, 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Debra (Gary) O''Laughlin of Sonora CA and Valerie (Larry) Rummel of Americus GA; grandchildren, Jason Muhme of Delaware OH, Michael Muhme of South Bend and Meghan Hastings in GA; great-grandchildren, Simone Muhme and River Muhme; sisters, Betty Becknell of Lambert MI, Nancy Morgano of St. Charles IL, Gwen Snyder of Warsaw; brother, Phillip Nine (Carole) of Salome AZ and several nieces & nephews. Memorial Services 2:00pm Saturday, May 9, 2015 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, where friends may call from 12-2pm. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
