Joyce E. Huxford, of Mishawaka, passed away on Nov. 28, 2022 in the Center for Hospice.  She was born on July 27, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN to Russell C. and Ruth (Hendershot) Blair.  She married Donald G. Huxford on April 29, 1983 in Mishawaka.  He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 2014.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jason A. (Andrea) Huxford; 2 grandchildren, Bryce and Jillian Huxford and their mother, Julie Huxford; a brother, Gary D. (Cindy) Blair; and her nephews, Jason (Shara), Douglas and Jonathan (Laura) Blair; great-nephew and great-nieces:Kyle, Hannah and Emily Schierbaum Blair and Cora and Sadie Rose Blair.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Joyce was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka.  She retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2008.  She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with the family from 10-12 PM Saturday Dec. 3, 2022 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561.  A Funeral Service in her honor will be on Saturday at 12 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
