Joyce L. Rudduck, 67, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at Sartori Memorial Hospital Wednesday, November 24, 2010 after a brief illness. Joyce Lynn Rudduck was born January 19, 1943 in Mishawaka, Indiana, daughter of Emmons and Hazel (Van Blaricom) Rudduck. She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1961; earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education from Cedarville College and her Bachelor of Science and Masters degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University. Joyce was an elementary school teacher in Jackson, Michigan from 1966?1974 and then a Missionary to Bangladesh from 1974 until 2009. She was a member of the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE). She is survived by her brother Francis (Mary) Rudduck of TX; sister Margaret Dene, FL; sister-in-law Phyllis Rudduck, CO; brother-in-law Ernest Ray Brant of South Bend, "son" Ujjal (Leya) Duwari and their son Nathan of Bangladesh; nieces: Janet Brant, South Bend, IN, Jean (Nick) Nickelson, South Bend, IN, Cindy (David) DeLaPaz, Tampa, FL, Sheryl (Randy) Ramos, Marysville, WA, Sandra (Michael) Haselden, TX, Ruth Aragon, CO and Carol Mawhir, CO; nephews: Robin Madsen, IA, Russell (Debra) Rudduck, TX, and James (Kelly) Rudduck, TX; great nephew Lt. Col. Jeff Kronewitter USAF and his wife Lt. Col. Regina Winchester/Kronewitter USAF both deployed; and many nieces and nephews and close family like members in Bangladesh. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Rudduck, and sisters Beverly Madsen and Betty Lou Brant.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, December 4, 2010 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Rev. David Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
