Joyce Yaw, 87 of Mishawaka, died Thursday August 27, 2015. The Mishawaka native was born June 2, 1928 to William & Dolpha (Warner) Peters. She was a graduate of Mishawaka High School and was a homemaker. Joyce enjoyed quiet times spent with family & friends and was a fan of Notre Dame Football. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Yaw and four sisters, Thelma Weimer, Lena Ruth Dunkleberger, Annabelle Clemens & Donnabelle Warford and her great-grandson, Petr Milan Klembara. Joyce is survived by her children, Bruce W. (Deborah) Johnson of Osceola, Ronald (Sharon) Johnson of Elkhart and Pamela (Sam) Thompson of Whitleyville TN; her grandchildren, Tina (Petr) Klembara of Vandalia MI, Teri (James) Meuninck of Osceola, Michael (Megan) Johnson of South Bend, David Johnson & Matthew Johnson, both of Elkhart, Dawn (Andrew) Lopez of Spotsylvania VA and Jennifer Greene of Hudson NC; great-grandchildren, Brook Roberts of Kalamazoo MI, Brittany (Matt) Bowers of Three Rivers MI, Curtis Roberts of Constantine MI, Nikita Klembara of Vandalia MI, Aidan Meuninck of Osceola, Madyson Johnson of South Bend, Oliver Johnson of Elkhart, Matthew, Joshua & Barbara Ann Lopez, all of Spotsylvania VA and her great-great-granddaughter, Ellie Bowers. Private family services are scheduled at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
