Juan J. Amezquita, 65, of Elkhart died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at home. He was born in Encarnacion de Diaz, Jalisco (Mexico) on August 10, 1948, the son of Salvador and Felicitas (Munoz) Amezquita, who preceded Juan in death. On October 28, 1967 Juan married Rosa Macias in Aguascalientes. He was a retired fiberglass specialist and member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Juan was devoted to his family, had a contagious laugh and truly enjoyed the time spent with family & friends. In addition to his parents, Juan was preceded in death by his brothers, Hector & Jorge and sisters, Silvia and Estella. Juan is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rosa M. Amezquita; his children, Juan (Adriana) Amezquita of Mishawaka, Rosa Angelica Amezquita of Aguascalientes, AGS, (Mexico), Jorge (Martha) Amezquita, Rigo (Dora) Amezquita and Ricardo (Mariela) Amezquita, all of Elkhart; siblings, Salvador (Martha) Amezquita, Marco (Mary) Amezquita and Gloria (Humberto) Tamayo, all of Elkhart, Jose Amezquita, Eloina (Gregorio) Martinez, Lourdes Amezquita, Celia (Jose) Amezquita, Imelda Amezquita, Silvia Amezquita and Elizabeth (Victor) Gonzalez, all of Aguascalientes, AGS, (Mexico) and 17 grandchildren.
