Judith A. Crumb, 68, of Elkhart, died at 8:00 pm, Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in Elkhart General Hospital. Judy was born on June 21, 1941 in Portland to the late Dwight and Mary (Priest) Haines. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William Haines, who died on March 17, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Crumb of Elkhart; six children, Dan (Kathy) Crumb of St. Augustine, FL, Tony (Partner Tom Perry) Gibson of Chicago, IL, Dave Crumb of Evansville, IN, Terri Gibson of Huntington, IN, Dennis (Debra) Crumb of St. Joseph, MI and David (Heather) Gibson of Churubusco, IN. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Judy was a very active member of the Osceola United Methodist Church, where she was the Parish Nurse, member of the Choir, and Chairman of the Wellness Committee. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women and the Red Hat Society. She retired from Memorial Hospital where she was a nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab, and was an instructor for CPR with the Red Cross and American Heart Association. Recently she worked with Habitat for Humanity in Mississippi and took a Missionary trip to Honduras. She proudly decided to donate her organs after she passed to help those in need. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in Osceola United Methodist Church, 431 North Beech Road. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8pm in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pennville, IN.
