Judy Ann Hiatt
Mishawka, Indiana

Judy Ann Hiatt, 75, of South Bend, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, after a period of declining health. She was born on October 9, 1949, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Edward and Imogene (Custer) Morningstar. Judy was a proud graduate of Clay High School, class of 1968. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Denny Hiatt on November 1, 2013.

Throughout her life, Judy worked for Patterson Dental, Waccamaw Retail, and retired from Superior Piece Parts. She had a deep love for the arts and crafts, especially crocheting and painting, and was also an avid gamer. Her creativity and enthusiasm brought joy to those around her.

Judy is survived by her loving children: her son, Jeff (Kim) Hiatt of Mishawaka; her daughters, Tracey (Jason) Hanks of Mishawaka, and Jill Wilson (fiancé Andy Hurst) of Granger. She is also survived by her cherished grandson, Joe Howe of Osceola, and her brother, Ron Morningstar of South Bend.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.

Judy will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
