June (Davis) Baize went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at her home surrounded by her loved ones on the evening of Friday, November 22, 2019 at 91 years old.  June was born on June 7, 1928 to Clarence and Cloe Davis in Dugger, Indiana. In 1943, she married Winford Baize.  She spent her life dedicated to our Lord and Savior, and her family.  June & Winford owned many businesses in the Mishawaka area, and served the community. June had incredible strength and kept the family on their toes with her extremely vivid and direct personality. She loved to spend time helping her husband.  She enjoyed spending time with the church and praising the Lord for the life she lived.  June's best friend, Rachel, her cat, kept her heart warm with joy.  She will be loved and missed by many people.  June was preceded in death by her husband, Winford Baize, son, Steven Baize, daughter, Judith Smith, daughter, Winifred (Winnie) Minor, and great great grandchild, William Andrews.  June is survived by her daughter, Patricia Baize, seven grandchildren, Todd Young, Kris Smith, Michael Castellon, Greg Smith, Angela Burkhardt, Tonya McGowan, and Samuel Baize; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
