Karen J. Cole, 78, of Mishawaka, died on August 6, 2018, at home.  She was born on June 16, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois.  On November 16, 1992, Karen married James Cole and he survives.  Karen enjoyed fishing, all outdoor activities, and crafting.  She was very technical savvy and enjoyed working on her computer.  She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jim; her son, Curtis (Donna) Rochefort of Granger; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  In accordance with Karen's wishes, no services are planned at this time.  A private cremation committal will take place.
