Obituary

Karren Sue Chesnutt, age 72, of Edwardsburg, passed away in her home on Friday, June 13, 2014. Karren was born Feb. 9, 1942 in Plymouth, Indiana.
Survivors include her children, Michael (Cheri) Youngman and Malcolm (Becky) Youngman, both of Edwardsburg, Sherry (James) Chrisovergis of Mishawaka, Patrick Chesnutt and Dylan Barnett, both of Edwardsburg. Surviving as well are 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren & a 5th great grandchild due in September. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Miller, and her brothers Raymond Cappous and David Miller.
There family will hold a service at a later date. Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola is handling arrangements.
Karren was and Ordained Reverend and a Wiccan High Priestess. In her younger years, she was an equestrian, and loved spending time not only with her horses, but with the many animals she and her children cared for over the years. She loved the outdoors, spending time fishing, riding motorcycles, and enjoying the beauty of nature. She was also a professional Clown for many years working with her former husband who was a magician.
Karren spent many years working in local nursing homes caring for others. She was known to her many friends and family as a "Social Butterfly" and she was an incredible source of knowledge to her family. Her caring nature led her to a love for children, and she showed her compassion by fostering children in need.
