Kathleen Rae Hood

February 24, 1947 - July 05, 2024

Kathleen Hood, 77, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away peacefully on Friday, July 05, 2024.

Kathleen is survived by the love of her life, Charles Hood; her son Sean (Kristen) Hood; grandchildren Irelynn & Kohen; and her great nieces and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence L. and Verna R. (Kizer) Kelly; her sister Elizabeth Robertson; brother-in-law Maxwell Robertson and niece Melody Robertson Grey.

Kathleen's family was the focus of her world.  She enjoyed eating out at a variety of restaurants, meeting new people and getting to know them. She was a judge for the Elvis Entertainment Network where she was able to travel. She also ran her own local business for many years working with Charley to provide scarves for Elvis impersonators across the country. Kathleen also enjoyed her work with local businesses such as Bendix, H & R Block and Notre Dame University. She can also be seen in a video in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Kathleen appreciated her life and was truly dedicated to her family. She especially enjoyed spending time together, particularly at family cookouts and she loved planning holiday gatherings. She was a very social lady, and any friends quickly became family to her.  Most of all Kathleen loved her precious husband and family.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, July 22, 2024, from11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, located at 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, Indiana 46561. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm and burial will follow at Chapel Memorial Gardens.
