Kathleen A. "Kathi" Szabo, 58, of Mishawaka, passed away 5:06 am, Thursday, August 20, 2009 in Our Lady of Peace, South Bend. Kathleen was born on December 8, 1950 to the late Francis and Ceila Ruth (Call) Collins. On October 8, 1977, in South Bend, she married Illes Szabo.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Illes; three children, Jason and wife Monica Szabo of Chicago, IL, Jennifer Szabo of Chicago and Matthew Szabo of Milwaukee, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Collins.
She will be remembered for her strength and courage during adverse times in her life and her ability to bring joy into a room and brighten up everyone''s life around her.
Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 pm, Sunday, August 23, 2009 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 24, 2009 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
