Kathryn A. Potts, 85, of Mishawaka, died Friday June 5, 2015. The Mishawaka native was born January 9, 1930 to Edward E. & Gertrude (McAlister) Wallis. Kathryn graduated from Mishawaka High School with the Class of ''48 and was a lifelong Mishawaka resident. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Mishawaka, Mishawaka High School Alumni and had retired from the office at Dodge Manufacturing. "Kathryn loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren." She was preceded in death by her son, James Edward Potts; her brother, Edward Wallis, Jr. and also by Leroy Potts, to whom she was formerly married. Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Nancy I. Calentine of Mishawaka; sons, Garry (Pam) Potts and Larry A. Potts, both of Elkhart; her brother, Robert (LaVerne) Wallis in Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Sue Wallis of South Bend; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services 10:00 Tuesday June 9, 2015 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. with calling one hour prior to services. Calling also Monday 4-8pm in the funeral home.
