Kathy Pask-Painter, 76, of Osceola, died June 25, 2018 surrounded by her family at home.  Kathy was born on September 18, 1941 to Joseph and Theresa (Horvath) Kovach in South Bend, Indiana.  On October 29, 1960, Kathy married John Pask.  He died May 4, 2012.  Then on November 8, 2014, Kathy married Lonnie Painter.  He survives.  Kathy was a devout Catholic and started a prison ministry-God Cares Ministry.  Her ministry included helping to get housing and re-establish released inmates back into the community and give them support and guidance.  She was a member of Women in Business, Women Business Owners, and Women in Construction.  Kathy worked at Plastic Material Supply, Hyline/Commercial Plastics, and then started her own companies- A-Z Plastics and then Plastics Fabricating and Distributing, LLC.  She spent over 40 years in the plastics business and her motto was "If it falls between A-Z, it must be me!"  Kathy is survived by her husband, Lonnie; her children, Jeannie Valencourt of South Bend, Randy (Carol) Pask of Mishawaka, Joe (Pam) Pask of LaPorte, and Jim (Emmy) Pask of Argos; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a brother, John (Scotty Sue) Kovach of Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and a brother, Joe Kovach.  Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Friday, June 29, 2018 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561 where a rosary will be recited at 7 PM.  The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Road, Mishawaka, IN  46544.  Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.  To leave a remembrance of Kathy or to offer condolences to her family, please visit us at www.chapelhillmemorial.com.
