SOUTH BEND, IN – K.C. Thompson, age 88, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at his home.

He was born on May 11, 1931 to the late Solomon and Thelma Augusta (Hogans) Thompson. On September 29, 2001 K.C. married the love of his life Linda. K.C. worked as a millwright at Mastic Corp. for 40 years and retired in 1993. He also worked as a plumber, carpenter, and mechanic. K.C. owned his own body shop and fish market. He was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church. K.C. enjoyed playing his guitar, riding his motorcycle and most of all spending time with his family.

K.C. is survived by his wife of 18 years, Linda Thompson of South Bend, IN; sons, Rodney (Sue) Clark, Conrad Jackson, and Kenny C. (Anika) Thompson all of South Bend, IN; step children, Roland (Irene) Ellis and Melanie Ellis both of South Bend, IN; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; brothers, Marcellus and Henry James Thompson both of Chicago, IL; sister, Queen Ester Ramos of Florida; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his children, Kevin Thompson and Darlene Thompson; great grandchildren, Dymond Clark and Ronin Ross; parents; brothers, Clifford Lee Thompson, King Solomon Thompson, and Linzie Thompson; sisters, Mary Dale, Magolia Oliver, Silveree Blackman and Melzie Rue Thompson.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561.
