Kelly Eugene Cartwright, 50, of Elkhart passed away at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, on Thursday, January 26, 2017. He was born February 28, 1966 in Elkhart, Indiana to George and Pamela (Casey) Cartwright, both survive him. On December 28, 2012, Kelly married Jan Myers. She survives. Kelly attended Grace Community Church in Granger, Indiana. He enjoyed going to car shows and watching the car auctions on television. He enjoyed sports, and was a die hard Notre Dame football and Cubs baseball fan. He is survived by his parents, his wife, Jan; his children, Brandon (Anna Marie) Cartwright, Tiffany Cartwright, Hailey Johnson, and Brock Johnson all of Elkhart; one grandchild; his siblings, Shawn (Tina) Cartwright, Dawn (Paul) Miller, Chris (Carrie) Cartwright; and his beloved dog "Wrigley". Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561. A funeral service in Kelly''s honor will be on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 10 AM with calling one hour prior. Pastor Pam Welch will be officiating with burial to follow the funeral service in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
