Kelly Sue Uebel, 64, of Granger, passed away on Nov. 13, 2023 at St. Joseph Medical Center.  She was born on July 25, 1959 in St. Louis, MO to Everett and Jimmie (Gragg) Proffer.  She married Gary Uebel on July 27, 1979.

Kelly is survived by her husband, Gary; 3 daughters: Lindsey (Jim) Leinen, Kristen (Chris) Jones and Amanda Uebel; and 3 grandchildren: Matthew, Ava and Sammi.

She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Uebel, and her parents.

Kelly was the pillar of our family; a wife of 45 years, a mother to 3 daughters and a son, and, most importantly, a Nena to 3 beautiful grandchildren which she adored the most. She was someone who never left the house without her colorful sense of style and was a hippie at heart.  She was so kind, even in the toughest parts of her life.  She never met a stranger.  She was loved by all.  She was a lover of golden retrievers, peace signs and cherries.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday Nov. 18, 2023 from 11-2 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561.

A Memorial Service in her honor will begin at 2 PM at the funeral home.
