Kenneth Gerald Easton, age 85, of Mishawaka passed away on March 5, 2018 at 1:55 PM.  He was born November 11, 1932 to George and Della (Ward) Easton Sr. in Hymera, Indiana.  After graduating from high school, Kenneth enlisted in the United States Air Force and served honorably in the Korean War as the rank of Staff Sergeant.    On June 8, 1957, Kenneth married Norma Lee Gamble.  Mr. Easton worked as the Head Custodian in the Mishawaka City School system.  A faithful follower of Jesus, Kenneth had a strong faith that he passed down to his family.  He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching all sports equally.  Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Norma; his children, Peggy Tokarz of St. Louis, MO, Greg (Kellie) Easton of Hammond, IN, and Kimberly Easton of South Bend; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Barbara Carr of Galien, MI.  He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Leland Easton, Violetta Hillebrand, Laverne Easton, George Easton, and Thelbert Easton.  Friends and family will be received on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 1-2 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561 with the funeral service beginning at 2 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle Chicago, IL 60674.
