Kenneth M. "Apples" Jablonski, 64, of Elkhart, died Monday March 14, 2016. The South Bend native was born December 20, 1951 to Henry & Henrietta (Repczynski) Jablonski and graduated from LaSalle High School with the Class of ''70. Kenneth was a US Navy veteran and on July 31, 1976, he married Joyce Thibodeaux in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in South Bend. He retired from the IT Dept. after 25 years at Bendix/Allied Signal/Honeywell and then also worked for South Bend Medical Foundation. "Apples", as he was fondly known by friends, was a member of the American Legion and DAV in Elkhart; was an avid sports fan, especially of Notre Dame, the Cubs & Bears, and was a good & loyal friend who was always willing to help others. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Don Jablonski and nephew, Don Jablonski, Jr. He is survived by Joyce Jablonski, his wife of nearly 40 years; his daughter Renee'' (Doug) LaShure of Elkhart and his grandchildren, Ryder & Leah. Kenneth is also survived by his sister, Karen (Paul) Rafferty of Dallas TX and nieces & nephews, Paul D. (Angie) Rafferty, Diane (Michael) Gibbons, Kathleen (Jason) Gladden, Brian Rafferty and Mark Jablonski. Funeral Services 7:00pm Thursday March 17, 2016 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, with calling on Thursday from 5-7pm.
