ELKHART, IN- Kenneth Dean Staub, age 78, passed away on July 17, 2019 at his home.

He was born May 2, 1941 in Middlebury, Indiana to the late Harry Staub and Margaret (Huff) Staub. On July 31, 1961 Kenneth married Nancy and with this happy union they had three daughters. He worked as a custodian for Penn-Harris-Madison School. He enjoyed fishing, water skiing, boating, crossword puzzles and spending time with family.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Rachel (Dave) Pontius of Elkhart, IN, Becky (Greg) Young of Osceola, IN and Cindy (Dennis) Hershberger of Elkhart, IN; 5 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Larry) Kinser of Mullins, TX; brother, Thomas (Joe Couch) Staub of Elkhart, IN; step sister, Cindy Trost of Maryland; step brother, LeRoy (Nancy) Chandler Jr. of Florida; step sister-in-law, Teresa Chandler of Ohio;  several nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife; grandsons, John and Kenneth Staub; parents; step father, LeRoy Chandler Sr.; sister, Carolyn Edwards; brother, Ray Staub; step brother and sister, Jim Chandler and Becky (Bill) Downing.
