M. Lanette Tallman, 94, of South Bend, died Tuesday November 17, 2015 at the Sanctuary at St. Paul''s. She was born October 21, 1921 to Loyd & Minnie (Mayberry) Griffith; on May 30, 1951 she married Virgil Tallman in Roseland. A member of Albright United Methodist Church, she enjoyed travelling & camping and was a member of the Good Sam Camping Club. Lanette retired from Uniroyal after 30 years of employment and enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, square dancing and exploring garage sales. She was preceded in death by her step-son, Richard Tallman; brother, George Griffith and niece, Letha Stigall. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Virgil Tallman; grandchildren, Lucretia (Todd McClain) Sellers of Mishawaka, Sandy Christie of Edwardsburg MI and Richard Tallman, Jr. of Elkhart; step-grandchildren, Tom Barnett of Mishawaka, Melissa Barnett of South Bend and Deni Marie Sellers of Severance CO; great-grandchildren, Frances Humphrey of Phoenix AZ, Kaitlin Torzewski of Mishawaka, Andrew Christie and Lacey of Edwardsburg MI, and Jessie and Jason Tallman of Cassopolis MI. Funeral Services 12:30 Friday November 20, 2015 at the Sanctuary at St. Paul''s, 3602 S. Ironwood Dr. South Bend , with calling one hour prior to services in the chapel. Burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Arrangements through Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy.
