ELKHART- Larry K. Klemmer 56, passed away this past Sunday at the Center for Hospice Care Elkhart. He was born Dec. 28, 1958 in Paulding Ohio to Kenneth and Rebecca (Bixler) Klemmer-Holmes. He married Roberta McIntire September 16, 1978. She survived along with his daughter Meghan of Kleinhardt (Tom Kleinhardt) of Clare Mi., two sons Michael Klemmer and Daniel Klemmer of Goshen, In., a granddaughter Hailey Klenhardt Fouch of Houghton Lake, Mi. and a grandson, Dakota Kleinhardt of Clare Mi., three brothers James Klemmer of Bristol, Rick Current of Elkhart, and Darrell Bridwell (Liz Bridwell) of Osceola, two aunts Barbra Doom of Mi., and Phyllis Johnson of Mi. and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Klemmer, mother Rebecca Becky'' Holmes; brother, Dale Klemmer. For thirty one years, Larry has been an employee of a Lippert Components window division, his nickname "Larry the Window Guy". Every day, Larry woke up at three in the morning to walk three miles to catch a bus. That bus drops him off, where he has to walk another mile to connect him to another bus. That bus connects him to another, which will finally get him to work. For thirty one years, Larry has never been late or absent from work. He is vibrant, tremendously helpful, faithful and has one of the most positive attitudes you''ll ever see. The word "No" does not exist for Larry when asked something, and he shows an unbelievable amount of pride and thoroughness in his work. His devotion to his family, friends, and work (Lippert), was extraordinary and you can see the love and passion for his work shine day in and day out. Larry is completely selfless and always thinking of ways to help others, while asking for nothing in return. He enjoyed painting, collecting comic books, and animals, he also was an ordained minister. Friends and family may gather at Chapel Hill Funeral Home located at 10776 Mckinley Highway Osceola Indiana 46545 from 5:00 - 7:00pm Thursday September 24. 2015 The funeral service will also be at Chapel Hill Funeral home Friday September 25 at 2:00pm with one hour prior calling, officiating the service will be Reverend Thomas Champion. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family''s preferred memorial is Center for Hospice Care located at 501 Comfort Place Mishawaka Indiana 46545.
