Larry D. Tice, 65, of Elkhart, passed away at home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Elkhart on July 10, 1954 to Darl and Emma (Kauffman) Tice.  He graduated in 1972 from Edwardsburg High School and went on to earn his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ivy Tech.  On July 11, 1981, Larry married Pamela Oligee and she survives.  Larry worked for over 30 years as a machinist for Elkhart Products.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing softball, soduko and online poker, and was an avid reader.  Larry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pam; his daughter, Isabelle Tice; his siblings, Edward (Annette) Tice, David (Karen) Johnson, Patricia Mahar, and John Mast.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Jack.  Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 3-6 PM in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN  46561 with closing comments by Steve Tice at 6 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Fido Fund, 4005 Timberstone Drive, Elkhart, IN  46514.
