LAURA MAE HARRIS
September 20, 1946 – April 20, 2024

Laura "Pinks" Mae Harris, 77, of Elkhart, Indiana, died at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family at 3:49 am Saturday, April 20, 2024.
Laura was born on September 20th, 1946 in St. Joseph County to Loren Richard and Mary Elizabeth (Wade) Howe. She married the love of her life, Charlie L. Harris, on June 3, 1967. Laura and Charlie were married for 57 amazing years at the time of her passing.

Surviving in addition to her husband Charlie Harris are her daughter, Laurie (Harris) Hurtle (Christopher Flowers); her son, Charlie Harris (Tanya Winslow); five grandchildren Gretchen (Hurtle) Muir (Nicholas Muir), Connor Harris, Michael Hurtle, Cannon Harris and Grace Hurtle; and her brother Larry Howe.

Her Mother and Father Loren R. and Mary E. (Wade) Howe and brother Robert A. Howe preceded Laura in death.
Laura enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking, crafting and camping with her family. Those that knew her best would describe her as "strong willed", "creative" and "witty". Most of all Laura loved her precious and dear family.

There shall be a graveside service for Laura on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 4:00pm at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, located at 10875 Jefferson Road, Osceola, Indiana, 46561.
