Lawrence "Larry" Burrington, 89 of Osceola Indiana, passed away on November 23, 2023.  A loving husband, father, and grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He is survived by his dearest loving wife of 71 years Jo Ann (Kozik) Burrington, his daughters Kathy Linzy (Eugene) of Kentucky, Patricia Weir, Cheryl Key (Rick), Barbara Walters (Jim) and sons Richard Burrington, and Michael Burrington (Donna) of Arizona. Larry was blessed with 19 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 47 great great grandchildren, and sisters Mary Ann Wilson (Dennis) and Marian Wetzle (Jim) as well as his devoted Yorkie "Molly".

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Burrington and Sarah (Ross) Smith and his son Kenneth Burrington.

Larry was adoringly known to his friends and coworkers at Rainbow Bowling Alley as "Shorty." He enjoyed fishing, hunting and tending to his amazing  garden. He was a wonderful father who gave of himself to make sure they all had the best childhood.  He adored spending time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was an honorable man who cared for his family deeply.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on November 29th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home to celebrate his wonderful life. Services will be held on Thursday November 30th at 12:00pm (noon) with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
