Lawrence R. Himes, 89, of Osceola, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at home. He was born on July 21, 1929 to Levi and Iva (Harris) Himes in Mishawaka, Indiana.

After high school, Lawrence honorably served his country in the United States Army in Germany during World War II.  He worked for Allied Products as a quality inspector for many years.

Lawrence is survived by his son, Donald Dunn of Osceola; and a sister, Helen Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Levi, Louis, and Loronzo Himes; and a sister, Dorothy Dare.
