Lawrence Everett Krohn, 85, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at The Restoracy of Goshen after a period of declining health.

Born on February 23, 1940, in Elkhart, Indiana, Lawrence was the son of the late Henry and Dorothy (Hutchison) Krohn. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Dora Lynn Connell.

A proud graduate of Elkhart High School, Larry went on to enjoy a long and fulfilling career at Miles Laboratories, Inc., before retiring. Known for his kind nature and easygoing spirit, he was well liked by all who knew him. Larry had a deep appreciation for the golden age of radio and a lifelong love of classic cars.

He is survived by his son, David (Karen) Krohn, of Colorado; beloved grandchildren Katrina (Randy) Pence, Alexandria Hampton (Stephen), Jonathon (Ashley) Krohn, Samuel (Emily) Krohn, and Matthew (Rachael) Krohn; and seven cherished great-grandchildren Trysta, Kaydence, Alexys, Avery, Evelynn, Elliott, and Katherine.

A private service and interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Indiana.

Lawrence will be remembered fondly for his warmth, sense of humor, creativity, and the joy he brought to those around him.
