Leroy J Miller, 82, of Fort Myers, FL formerly of Goshen, IN passed away December 31st at his home on Coldwater Lake, following an extended illness.

Roy was born May 24, 1936 at Millersburg IN to Warren and Viola Miller (Miller). He graduated from Millersburg High School in 1954. Roy was also active in the army from 1962 -1965. Roy married Colette (Jepson) Miller on August 15, 2015 in Coldwater MI. Roy retired from Bontrager Pools,Inc. in Elkhart, IN in 1996. Roy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, as well as boating, traveling, bicycling and reading books on history. Helping others was his passion. It is impossible to translate into words the respect and admiration people had for Roy, but it will forever be etched in the hearts of many to have known such a wonderful kind, compassionate man.

Roy is survived by his wife, Colette Jepson -Miller of Coldwater, MI; his children, Donald Scott (Julie) Miller of Morriston FL and Mitchell (Rose) Miller of Goshen, IN, and step-sons Kenneth (Cindy) Cook of Agoura Hills, CA, Joe (Leslie) Jepson of Coldwater, MI and Bradley Cook of Butlerville, IN, and Melanie (Timothy) Redding; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one step-great grandchild; his sisters Miriam Black of Goshen, IN and Mary Culp of Hesston, KS; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his siblings Wilbur Miller, Ronald Miller and Luella Eash, and his daughter Diane Miller.

A memorial service at 5 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 Mckinley Hwy., Osceola, IN. Friends may call Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the funeral home.
