Leroy E. Walters, 93, of Elkhart, passed away on June 10, 2019.  He was born on June 6, 1926 in Clinton, Iowa to Frances E. and Leona (Korb) McKearnan.  On September 21, 1947, Leroy married Norma Andre' and she preceded him in death on May 10, 2019.  After graduating from High School, Leroy served his country honorably in the United States Navy during World War II.  He attended First Congregational Church in Elkhart.  He enjoyed making things with his hands like cradles, dollhouses, and rocking chairs.  Leroy's greatest love was his family.  Leroy is survived by his children, Tom (Jan) Walters, Anne Walters, Richard (Carol) Walters, Dave (Karen) Walters; seven grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.  In accordance with Leroy's wishes, there will be no services at this time.  Burial will take place at a later date in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.
